pc gamer says there is going to be a Guardian class in gw2, considering this sint really guild wars 1 topic and not many are talking on gw2 guru. id figured itd post it here to get a more firm answer on whats going on. why would pc gamer leak this and why be allowed to, never have the anet gw2 team leaked other professiosn before why now?

Seems like it's been confirmed, with no further information... most likely you'll just get over excited speculation here.. like this:

Looks like it might be a paladin type character. Melee character using spells to boost their damage (I'm thinking holy damage?). Kind of like a sword wielding dervish.

yes, that is the new profession.
PC Gamer does not know the specifics of the class, but ANET gave them permission to release the name.

I agree that this needs to be brought up on the gw2guru site, but it's nice for someone to mention it here. The blackout has been soooo long, I have stopped looking on that site

Sounds like a good idea, I remember when UT3 came out it was pretty much just UT2k4 with beefed up gfx, look how that turned out

No doubt if GW2 was just GW with nothing new except graphics there'd be similar complaints after the novelty of the better graphics wore off.

Hey if Regina says it's ok then that's good enough for me. Plus I'm super excited to see a newish (reworked paragon) proffession. I was expecting to get stuck looking at mesmer for another serveral months before they revealed something else.
